I met Dr.Patel in 2005, and I have been a patient as well. I was blessed to have a doctor who has a big heart, I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I tell anyone and everyone how great he is !

I recently had ruptured my left bicep tendon and Dr. Patel fixed my right up. I had ruptured the right bicep tendon 5 years ago and Dr. Patel did that repair as well. When it comes to upper extremity surgery there is no one better in Austin. He is “THE” arm guy in Austin….

Had really bad shoulder pain and some people were recommending surgery. Dr Patel was able to get me moving again with some shots and physical therapy. Very grateful.

Dr.Patel has been my hand surgeon now for more than a year going on to two. I have nothing but good to say about him. Very incredible! I got a white ink tattoo on my knuckle about 4 years back which has scarred and created a ton of issues and problems. I was referred to Dr. Patel by my primary care doctor. He was extremely professional and kind. He gave me his honest advice, and when I became a bit emotional about this whole wild goose chase to find someone to help me, he called another doctor and asked it they could help. He went to great lengths to examine my hand as well as comfort me about the issue and help be part of the solution. Thank you so much for taking the time to actually care about your patients and offer them the best care possible! I can’t say enough about how kind and helpful he was!

Dr. Patel is smart, thoughtful, listens fully, and is overall the best surgeon I’ve ever met (I’ve had a few). He found a rare symptom that exacerbated my injury that is only found in 3% of the population! The physical therapists were talking amongst each other about how he always finds the rarest conditions. Such talent is rare these days among doctors, he’s definitely a Unicorn 👍

My wife was a patient of Dr. Patel’s for 3 and a half years. She had nerve damage in both arms and needed 6 surgeries. She was going through worker’s comp and was able to get the first two. He advocated for her when she began getting denied. Once she got to use her own insurance to finish the treatment, he expedited the rest of her surgeries. He was always very professional and passionate about helping patients get and feel better. He always took time to explain things and is dedicated to his profession. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Patel. I had a very serious finger infection. The previous doctors were not capable of helping me. Within minutes of seeing me, Dr. Patel began setting up an emergency surgery. He ended up giving up part of his 4th of July to make sure I got better…and I did. I am expected to have a 100% recovery and I owe it all to Dr. Patel. He knows what he is doing, he cares, and I recommend him to anyone who wants the absolute best medical care!

In 2014 when I was diagnosed with a rotator cuff tear by my primary physician, the MRI revealed that I had four torn tendons ,pretty bad. A colleague from work who had suffered The same injury though not as severe told me if I have the option get Doctor Manish Patel he’s a wonderful surgeon, I did have the opportunity and he is a wonderful empathetic and caring physician and I can tell you my shoulder is better than before. Fast forward 2021 l’m retired working on property taking out yaupon roots when I hear this crackling and feel the pain I know it’s my rotator cuff the opposite shoulder this time, only one man to call…Doctor Patel . The doctor and his excellent staff set up everything from MRI to surgery to physical therapy. I believe because of doctor Patel’s skill and instruction on movement after surgery I was able to regain mobility and flexibility pretty quickly, it surprised and amazed my physical therapist, so thank you Doctor Patel.

Dr Patel is excellent! I highly recommend him. He patiently explained the results of the various tests he ordered for me before concluding that I needed hand surgery and why. He is an excellent surgeon and I now have the full use of my right hand restored after surgery to release the ulnar nerve. So grateful!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Manish Patel for many years. He found and removed a blood clot in my left hand, years later, fixed a trigger finger in my left hand, and has recently repaired my left bicep tendon that was hanging on by a thread. He is the most personable, kind, and compassionate doctor in Central Texas. He always gets me in when I need to see him and takes all the time necessary to make sure I’m comfortable. I’m never rushed and always very well attended to. He is by far the best of the best when it comes to hands, arms, and shoulders. He will not string you along and will provide you with the best care possible. Dr. Patel’s staff is efficient, easy to reach, professional, and caring. This doctors office is top shelf.

Dr. Patel has restored the use of my right hand and continues to treat me for the Viking hand syndrome. He is very thorough and explains each procedure and how each procedure improves the hand function. Dr. Patel is highly qualified to meet your orthopedic needs.

I had hand and wrist pain for years. I wore a brace and still no relief. I went to several doctors and I still could get help. I finally was sent to get a CT and that showed I had multiple issues one of which was something called Kienbock`s disease. This is where the bone in the wrist dies. I went to another doctor and was told to wear a brace and come back. Always get a second opinion. That is when I found Dr Patel. I had surgery and am now pain free. Please don’t wait until it is to late to get your life back. If you are in pain go see Dr Patel. You can get a pain free life.

Dr Patel performed several successful hand surgeries on my wife and then performed total shoulder replacement this past summer. Her range of motion after the surgery is remarkable and pain in the shoulder is practically gone.

Dr Patel’s compassion and caring is also quite remarkable.

Soon I will be needing carpal tunnel release and I will definitely be going to see Dr Patel

An ER doctor recommended Dr Patel because I cut a tendon in my finger. He explained that I needed surgery to repair the tendon. All in all I was very pleased with Dr Patel. He really cares about his patients.
